Gulf of Carpentaria
20 Day Itinerary - Undurra Volcanic NP, Cobbold Gorge, Karumba, Burketown, The Lost City
The Gulf of Carpentaria has long been one of those places that’s known by many but experienced by few. This tour is designed to highlight this region’s geological diversity and history, with plenty of time to look at the varied eco systems that the area has to offer. We’ll travel to Karumba on the coast and drive across the ‘Plains of Promise’ to Burketown, before heading west through Hells Gate looking for the Lost Cities in Limmen National Park.
