MURRAYLANDS and MALLEE TOUR
This tour will highlight the diversity of the Mallee region in both flora and fauna. Gluepot Bird Reserve, north of Waikerie in SA, is a small spot of birdwatching heaven of national renown. The Birds Australia-owned reserve is home to six nationally endangered and 17 regionally threatened species of birds. It has unique flora and fauna adapted to the harsh conditions and is bordered by the Bookmark Biosphere.
Danngali National Park is unspoilt and remote. Hattah Lakes is an impressive lake system situated between the Murray River and the Murray Sunset National Park, Victoria's second largest, one of the worlds semi arid regions that has been left relatively untouched.
